Huehuhue, sorry man, had to. If my car came with run flats I’d have ditched them too and been equally SOL when having a flat tire.

Is there any way to carry a spare in the 1er or are you just gonna keep a can of that goop in the car for future issues?

You’re going to need a new tire.

Fix-a-flat and Slime and similar products compromise the integrity of the inner liner of the tire, so it’s no longer road worthy than the maximum distance noted on the can. When I worked at a repair shop we had a strict policy to not repair - in fact replace-only - tires with filler products added, even if just for a few miles. It’s also a PITA to clean up off the rim interior, and when spilled; it doesn’t come out of clothes too well either, which happens when customers neglect to tell you they used such a product!

A spare would liberate my trunk of a lot of space. However, I will probably get one to keep in there just for road trips.

If I need one new tire, they’ll be replacing them all.

It’s the only way to do it really. Unless the tire is BRAND new. And the idiots didn’t inflate the tire to the correct PSI. Ask me how I know.

If it has TPMS the sensor will need to be replaced also. Sorry man.

I got the TPMS sensor safe crap. If they replace it, I’m not paying for it.

Oh cool. Didn’t know there was such a thing. Hopefully it doesn’t cause issues down the road.
